How it works

Predict. Sail. Prove.

Every other routing tool stops at the suggestion. We follow through to the end of the voyage and show you the receipts.

01

We Predict

Five AI agents analyze weather, fuel, emissions, safety, and trade to find your optimal route. You get a pre-voyage report with forecasts and confidence levels.

Weather-validated for first 3 days
Fuel, emissions, CII projections

02

You Sail

The captain follows the optimized route. Real-time telemetry tracks actual weather, fuel consumption, and route adherence throughout the voyage.

ECDIS-compatible waypoints
Re-routing as conditions change

03

We Prove

After arrival, the claims report compares predicted vs actual data. Weather, fuel, emissions, route — side by side. This is your proof of value.

VFWR: Charting the Optimal Voyage

“VFWR is validated against a dataset of 100 historical voyages using hindcast weather data — consistently producing shorter distances and durations than real-world trips across all tested voyages.”

Abstract. VFWR is an optimization framework for ship weather routing with a weather-aware heuristic incorporating real-time forecast, wave-height threshold, maximum-latitude constraint, no-go areas, and minimisation of time within emission control areas. Validated against a 100-voyage hindcast dataset, the model consistently shortens both distance and duration relative to actual AIS trajectories.

Under the hood

Not a routing tool. A routing model.

Five specialized agents collaborate per voyage using neurosymbolic AI — combining ML patterns with hard-coded physical and regulatory constraints.

1 Core Engine

Five agents collaborate per voyage

Not one model — five specialized agents that negotiate, score, and converge on the optimal route through structured communication protocols.

2 Architecture

Neurosymbolic Reasoning

ML patterns + hard-coded physics. Every decision has an auditable chain.

RULE Max wave 4.5m exceeded
OPT Re-route south via Benguela
Route B selected · +12.4% fuel saving
3 Transparency

Weather confidence you can see

95% accuracy days 1-3, degrading transparently. You see exactly where certainty ends — no other routing tool shows this.

4 Data Lineage

Auditable Source Lineage

Every data point traces to its source — IMO-keyed vessel records, flag state registries, classification databases, timestamped sensors. Full audit trail, no black boxes.

5 Explainability

LLM-Readable Outputs

Natural-language justifications for every decision. Captains, charterers, and auditors get answers — not black boxes.

AI Insight Route Reasoning

Route diverts 40 nm south of original rhumb line to exploit the Benguela counter-current and avoid a 6 Bf headwind zone forecast for March 16-18. Net fuel saving offsets the added distance by 2.3x. Weather confidence: 95% for days 1-3, 88% for days 4-7.

How We Help

Six roles, one routing layer.

Fleet operators buy it. Masters trust it. Charterers prove it. P&I clubs defend with it. CTOs embed it. Principals own the moat.

Compliance
